Today my boyfriend, Rich and I ventured out to the streets of Chicago to support the Chicago Marathon runners. What an amazingly powerful experience! We met our friends early hoping to see the first man and woman to cross the finish line. Our hopes were met and so much more :) We saw runners' spirits overcome when their bodies were saying NO...we saw people from all over the world come together...we saw wheelchair marathoners race their hearts out, but most of all we saw a GREAT display in humanity.
